Kaipara Chilli + Horopito
Naughty and nice with a little bit of spice! This spicy little bar is an invigorating blend of hot and spicy horopito extract from the central North Island and a pinch of chilli powder grown in the Kaipara region for a little bit of flare.
Horopito was traditionally used to treat topical cuts and bruises thanks to its active antimicrobial compounds such as polygodial that help to reduce skin irritation and act as anti-allergens, and funnily enough is also to thank for the hot peppery taste!
Chilli is also beneficial for skin due to its high levels of capsaicin which is a potent anti-inflammatory compound, soothing irritated skin and reducing redness and inflammation.
Together, these unconventional ingredients form a spicy, soothing bar with a little bit of pop.
